While Eleven and Hopper worked their way to Dr. Kay's lab, Dustin, Steve, Nancy, and Jonathan also rushed in to save Holly. The new trailer for Volume 2 shows these characters witnessing a dark side of the Upside Down, raising tension about the approaching danger.

From deadly-looking rifts to mysterious developments, the snippets from the latest trailer make it clear that the alternate dimension holds more dark secrets than what is known so far. This is also hinted at in the way Dustin says in the video:

"This whole time, everything we've ever assumed about the Upside Down has been dead wrong."

Eleven's interactions with Eight and seeking her help to kill Vecna became one of the striking scenes revealed in the new trailer. Eleven and Hopper will get to face some dark powers ahead, as the former was shown fighting in a dark, storm-like setup in the latest video.
