The Pittsburgh Steelers have made some big changes to their wide receiver room this offseason, acquiring DK Metcalf in a trade with the Seattle Seahawks, signing Robert Woods, letting Van Jefferson and Mike Williams leave in free agency and sending George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys in a trade.
That's a lot of turnover for one room.
Now, Pittsburgh's quarterbacks Mason Rudolph and Will Howard are competing for the opportunity to throw to a group led by Metcalf, Woods and Calvin Austin III.
While the Steelers definitely have talent in that wide receiver group, they could have more, and they may consider swinging another trade to acquire a young wideout with plenty of potential.
Earlier this week, Steelers Wire's Andrew Vasquez identified three wide receivers that Pittsburgh should target in trades this offseason, and one of the more intriguing options was Romeo Doubs.
Doubs, 25, played collegiately at Nevada from 2018-21, earning first-team All-Mountain West honors in his final twice and catching 225 passes for 3,322 yards and 26 touchdowns in 44 total games over four seasons.

The Green bay Packers took Doubs in the fourth round (No. 132 overall) of the 2022 NFL draft and gave him a sizeable role as a rookie, despite the wideout missing time with an ankle injury.
Over his three professional seasons, Doubs has appeared in 43 games, recording 147 receptions for 1,7000 yards and 15 touchdowns.
While Doubs is a solid receiver, the Packers may be willing to part with him after he was suspended by the team last year after missing practice. He's also entering the final season of his rookie deal, so if he's not in their long-term plans, they could get something in return now.
In Pittsburgh, Doubs would likely slide in behind Metcalf and ahead of Woods as the their second-best option at the position. He could help whoever is under center, and he may even draw free-agent quarterback Aaron Rodgers to the Steelers, as they played together in Green Bay in 2022.
