Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers were together for a long time.
On Sunday Night Football in Week 8 of the 2025 NFL season, they'll be enemies.
It'll be Rodgers' first game against the Packers, the 32nd and final NFL team he will play against in his career.
Rodgers, now the starter for the Pittsburgh Steelers, is 41 years old now and still playing well.
Naturally, he was asked during his Wednesday media availability about playing against the Packers.
Rodgers downplayed the matchup a bit, denying that it could be classified as a "revenge game," according to ESPN's Brooke Pryor.
"There's no animosity toward the organization," Rodgers added. "Obviously I wish things had been better in our last year there."

Rodgers had seen the "writing on the wall" from the time Jordan Love was drafted, he added in his media time on Wednesday.
Now this week, Rodgers will get to play against Love for the first time.
Rodgers played 18 seasons for the Packers, putting up a record of 147-75-1.
He threw for 59,055 yards with the Packers on a completion percentage of 65.3%.
With Green Bay, Rodgers threw 475 touchdowns compared to 105 interceptions.
He has since spent two seasons with the New York Jets and now is 4-2 in this one with the Steelers.
It'll be a unique experience for Rodgers to play against the Packers, that's for sure.
