The Pittsburgh Steelers passed on Shedeur Sanders in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Steelers then passed on a lot of other quarterbacks before selecting Ohio State's Will Howard on Day 3.
So, the current QB depth chart includes Howard, Skylar Thompson and Mason Rudolph in arguably the worst QB room in the NFL. As such, the Aaron Rodgers rumors have gained even more smoke, although no decision has been made from Rodgers (of course).
Rodgers has been firm with reports saying he wouldn't make a decision right away, but now it's May, and he still isn't signed.
On Tuesday, Steelers minority owner Thomas Tull did an interview with CNBC, and the question of Rodgers came up. Now, Tull was not there to discuss football matters, rather he was there to discuss a partnership with Elon Musk's company since Tull is the TWG Global CEO.
But, the question still came: Are we going to see Aaron Rodgers in a Steelers uniform this year? Tull's answer was priceless:
"I'm here to talk about AI, and that's a more complex issue than artificial intelligence."

Yes, of course it is complex.
Tull's meeting was due to Elon Musk's AI system, but the Steelers minority owner didn't give any update on the Rodgers front. Rather, he even admitted it's a "more complex" issue than AI itself, and it's no surprise given Rodgers' past.
Will he sign with the Steelers? Will he walk away from football altogether? Previously, he had the whole world waiting on his decision, which ultimately ended up in him going to the New York Jets.
This time, it seems as if only the Steelers are waiting on Rodgers' decision, but at this point, not even the minority owner knows what his intentions are.
