Stalker 2 Stories Untold walkthrough: How to start the free story expansion

Stalker 2 has included several pieces of content in its latest update, Stories Untold, that also let you pursue intriguing new quests. With new characters, new locations, and weapons, completing all of the quests can take around five hours. However, knowing where and how to access the Stories Untold content and start the quests can be a bit tricky.

How to access Stalker 2 Stories Untold content update

Travel to the Burnt Forest region

The Stories Untold content update can be accessed in the early stages of the game. Whenever you can free roam in the open world of Stalker 2, navigate to the Burnt Forest region to automatically come across a PDA message by a person named Banzai.

Note: Although the message could be received anywhere in the world, the Burnt Forest region has the highest probability (I received the PDA note there on the first try).

The message mentions that Banzai has been imprisoned by a gang in the Old Mine, located in the southern part of the Red Forest. While you can travel directly to the required location at the Old Mine, receiving the message from Banzai gives the context.

Reach the Old Mine

After listening to the Banzai's message, travel to the Old Mine, located in the south of the Red Forest region.

Upon reaching there, you will see multiple enemies guarding the area. Eliminate all of them to clear the Old Mine's entrance.

Next, enter the mine and follow the rail tracks. When you reach the intersection, take the right turn and defeat the subsequent enemies in there.

After that, you can find Banzai inside a cell. Break the lock and talk to him to start the first mission of the title's Stories Untold content update, Dark as a Dungeon.
