It was an absolutely tiring contest between the San Antonio Spurs and the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. The game went into overtime, where the Spurs emerged as 122-115 winners.
After the game, Stephon Castle and Victor Wembanyama both looked absolutely gassed out as they made their way through the hallway. A video was shared on the X, revealing the immediate reactions of both just minutes after.
Wembanyama, who played 49 minutes in the win, appeared exhausted but still cheerful. When he was doing handshakes in the hallway, he said:
"I might fall on the floor."
Since being drafted fourth overall in 2024, Castle revealed it was the "hardest" game of his career:
"That was the hardest Game 1 I ever played in my life, plus a double overtime. Multiple chances to get it done... but it's easy when you got the best player in the world."

Castle hinted at Wembanyama in his reaction. The Spurs star deserved the praise for all its worth, even though just before the start of the game, the Defensive Player of the Year was snubbed for the MVP in favor of Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Wembanyama, who hit the logo 3-pointer in a clutch moment, led the Spurs with a double-double performance. He put 41 points on the board and also grabbed 24 rebounds along with three blocks. Meanwhile, Castle added 17 points (on 5-14 shooting), six rebounds and 11 assists.
The Game 1 win neutralized the Thunder's home advantage in the series. The win should feel special for the Spurs as they managed the result despite missing De'Aaron Fox due to ankle sprain.
