With some suggesting that the Milwaukee Bucks could move on from Giannis Antetokounmpo, the goal for the front office should be to get the best possible package.
Among the teams that could interest the Bucks in a potential deal if they make Antetokounmpo available includes the San Antonio Spurs.
In a proposed trade idea from Dan Favale of Bleacher Report, they'd move him to San Antonio for a package that might not be as great as Milwaukee is hoping for.
The trade would move Harrison Barnes, Keldon Johnson, Jeremy Sochan, the No. 2 pick, the No. 14 pick, Atlanta's 2027 first-round pick, a 2029 first-round pick, and a 2031 first-round pick that's the most favorable of San Antonio or the Minnesota Timberwolves.
“The Spurs suddenly have one of the strongest theoretical offers for Giannis after landing the No. 2 overall pick in this year's draft. They'd be giving Milwaukee a selection that will turn into a player—likely Dylan Harper—who can serve as the focal point of the Bucks' rebuild. The Spurs would be giving up an additional four first-rounders as well, including this year's No. 14 selection.
“Sochan isn't filler, either. He falls short of outright first-round value with an extension on the way and offensive limitations galore,” Favale wrote.

Despite five first-round picks sounding like a ton, the Bucks would likely be looking for a few more in a deal for Antetokounmpo. They'd also probably want Stephon Castle in this trade, too.
However, from the Spurs' perspective, this could be a deal worth making. Pairing him with Victor Wembanyama and giving them a championship window for the next five-plus years might be all San Antonio needs to get back to the top of the NBA world.
