What player are the Spurs interested in?
Jake Fischer of The Stein Line reported that San Antonio has an interest in Celtic Kristaps Porzingis.
Porzingis just came off a playoff stretch where he struggled.
It was later revealed he was dealing with a post-viral issue he developed after missing weeks towards the end of the regular season with an illness.

Porzingis seems to be back in better condition and plans on playing for his home country of Latvia at EuroBasket 2025, in a couple of months.
A frontcourt of Porzingis and Wembanyama would be historic.
It would be one of the tallest forward/center combos we have ever seen.

Not only would the height combination be such a rarity, but both players are unicorns that can play like a traditional center while also spreading the court with their outside shot.
A Wembanyama-Porzingis pair on the floor at the same time would be a nightmare for other teams and could be a player that helps make the Spurs a heavy favorite in the West.
