Cunningham paired the tight sleeveless dress with dark sunglasses, creating a sleek summer look as she made her way through the Fever tunnel. She wore her long blond hair down and carried herself with the same confidence she regularly displays on the basketball court.

The Fever shared photos of Cunningham and her teammates on the team’s official social media accounts.

“Friday fits,” Indiana wrote, adding a sighing emoji.

Cunningham also received her own post shortly before the game.

“Sophie Cunningham is ready to take on the Storm,” the Fever wrote.

The outfit continued a season-long run of Cunningham turning her pregame walk into one of the most anticipated fashion shows in the WNBA.

Cunningham has experimented with several different styles during the 2026 season. She has arrived at games in crop tops, leather shorts, fitted skirts, cowboy-inspired clothing and casual denim outfits. Cunningham has also mixed high heels with more relaxed looks featuring sneakers and sweatpants.

Friday’s outfit was one of her simplest of the season, but it still made a major impression. The tight minidress and sunglasses created an effortless combination perfectly suited for a warm July evening in Indianapolis. Cunningham’s growing presence in the fashion world should not come as a surprise.

The 29-year-old appeared in the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and has expressed interest in pursuing additional modeling opportunities away from basketball. Sophie Cunningham thriving for Indiana Fever

Cunningham entered Friday’s game averaging 9.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 0.6 steals across 23 appearances. The veteran guard has been especially effective from the perimeter. She entered the Seattle matchup shooting 49 percent from the field and 43.8 percent from 3-point range, making her one of the most efficient outside shooters in the WNBA.

Cunningham scored 10 points and recorded a season-high four steals in Indiana’s 88-75 loss to the Golden State Valkyries on Wednesday. She made two 3-pointers in that game, marking the 12th time this season she connected multiple times from beyond the arc. Her best recent performance came against the Las Vegas Aces on July 12. Cunningham scored 20 points in only 23 minutes during Indiana’s dominant 109-75 victory, shooting 7-of-9 from the field and 6-of-7 from 3-point range.

Over her previous five appearances, Cunningham averaged 10 points and 2.4 made 3-pointers in 22.2 minutes per game.

The Fever entered Friday tied with the Atlanta Dream atop the Eastern Conference standings at 14-10. Seattle arrived in Indianapolis at 6-20, giving Indiana an opportunity to rebound from Wednesday’s disappointing home loss.

Cunningham came prepared to help the Fever get back into the win column. She also made certain Indiana won the pregame fashion battle.
