Sophie Cunningham had one more regular-season tunnel look ready for Thursday night. The Indiana Fever guard arrived at Target Center ahead of the regular-season finale against the Minnesota Lynx wearing an all-black ensemble that immediately generated attention online.
Cunningham paired a black top with black leather pants for the Fever's final arrival before the WNBA playoffs. It continued a season in which Cunningham has consistently mixed basketball with an increasingly recognizable pregame style.

Thursday's outfit was considerably different from the look Cunningham chose for Indiana's regular-season home finale Tuesday. For that game, Cunningham arrived in an oversized white "Kick Rocks" sweatshirt, sunglasses and black heels.

The black-on-black combination fit a road finale in Minnesota and gave Cunningham another memorable tunnel moment before Indiana shifted entirely into postseason mode.
Unfortunately for the Fever, the game wasn't nearly as successful as the arrival.
Minnesota overwhelmed Indiana, 86-66, only two days after the Fever had beaten the Lynx, 96-77, in Indianapolis.

Struggles on the court
Cunningham played 16 minutes and was held scoreless. Caitlin Clark also struggled, scoring only two points on 1-of-12 shooting.
Indiana fell behind by 30 points at halftime and eventually finished the regular season 28-16. The loss dropped the Fever to the No. 6 seed for the WNBA playoffs.
For Cunningham and Indiana, the tunnel portion of the regular season is officially finished. Now the wardrobe changes from arrival fits to playoff uniforms.
Cunningham and the Fever will hope Thursday's disappointing basketball performance doesn't follow them into the postseason.
