Sophie Cunningham shows off abs in stylish pregame outfit before Fever game

Sophie Cunningham has become almost as well known for her game-day fashion as her outside shooting, and the Indiana Fever guard delivered another memorable look before Wednesday night's matchup against the Golden State Valkyries.

As the Fever returned home to Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the team's official social media account shared a series of player arrival photos with the caption, "back home 🫶."

Among them, Cunningham drew plenty of attention in a casual summer outfit featuring blue jeans and a cropped top that showed off her toned midsection ahead of one of Indiana's biggest games of the week.

The stylish arrival came just days after Cunningham helped power the Fever to one of their most impressive wins of the season, giving fans another reason to keep an eye on one of the team's most popular veterans.

Pregame tunnel walks have become part of the WNBA experience, with players showcasing their personalities before stepping onto the court. Cunningham has consistently embraced that spotlight throughout the 2026 season, and Wednesday's outfit continued that trend.

The veteran guard paired blue jeans with a cropped belly shirt for a relaxed summer look as she arrived at Gainbridge Fieldhouse before the nationally televised contest against the Valkyries. The Fever's social media post quickly highlighted the team's return home after a successful road trip, with Cunningham's outfit standing out among the arrivals.

It also capped a busy day for the 29-year-old. Earlier Wednesday, Cunningham invited fans to attend her upcoming youth basketball camp in Carmel, Indiana, encouraging supporters to "come hang out" later this week.

Cunningham enters game on a hot streak

The timing couldn't be much better for Cunningham, who has been playing some of her best basketball of the season. She is coming off a dominant performance in Sunday's 109-75 victory over the Las Vegas Aces, finishing with 20 points while knocking down six of her seven attempts from three-point range in just 23 minutes.

Through 22 games this season, Cunningham is averaging 9.6 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists while shooting an outstanding 49.3 percent from the field and 43.5 percent from beyond the arc. Her efficient shooting has made her one of the WNBA's top reserve scorers and an important complement to Indiana's star trio of Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston.

The Fever entered Wednesday night's matchup at 14-9, looking for a third consecutive victory against a Golden State team that brought a seven-game winning streak into Indianapolis. While Cunningham's latest pregame outfit generated conversation before tipoff, Indiana will be hoping she can carry the same confidence onto the floor as the Fever continue their climb in the WNBA standings.
