As Sony marches on to an all-digital future, it’s scary to see that a handful of its first-party games are suddenly disappearing from the PlayStation Store without warning, even if only temporarily. Fans have discovered that some PlayStation Studios games have seemingly been delisted in different regions, including Knack 2, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, and God of War III: Remastered, all seemingly due to a pricing error.

Right now, if you search for any of these games on the PlayStation Store in North America, they won’t come up at all. Thankfully, if you’ve purchased the game before, you can still download it from your collection. In God of War III’s case, it appears that the game might have been listed for an incorrect price (roughly 50 cents) on the Mexican PlayStation Store. So it seems like Sony just yoinked each of them off the store until it figures things out. We’ve reached out to Sony for clarification on the matter and will update this story if we hear back.

If it is just a technical snafu that needs addressing, that’s a relief. However, as Sony tries to usher the video game industry away from physical discs and start strictly releasing games through its own digital storefront beginning in 2028, it’s a pretty unnerving reminder that the company has the power to just remove games from that store at the touch of a button. Hopefully they come back soon. God forbid the world goes on without the whimsy of Knack 2 for too long. Plus, if Naughty Dog is (unfortunately) working on a new Uncharted as has been reported, folks are going to need to go back and play those original games at some point.
