Social media reacts to Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson split

Following Megan Thee Stallion's Instagram Story on Saturday, April 25, accusing Klay Thompson of cheating on her, fans have headed to social media to uplift the rapper amid the allegations.

“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet’ Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous’???? bitch I need a REAL break after this one .. bye yall,” Megan wrote.

Fans were not happy with the possibility of Thompson stepping out on Megan and shared their comments across several posts on social media. 

"Tired of these men playing in her face," one fan wrote on X.

"When i catch you Klay Thompson," another fan wrote alongside a video of Alexa Demie's character on Euphoria saying "I'm literally going to get violent."

"This evidence no. 1402695 that the only way to keep a man is if he wants to be kept," another fan commented on X.

"you NEVER know what’s somebody’s going through until everything comes to light. This is so unexpected and heartbreaking. He always putting on that sweet boy character," a fan reacted on X.

At this time, Thompson has not responded to the accusations.

Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson's relationship

Prior to Megan's shocking revelation, it was assumed by the public that everything behind closed doors was okay between the two. They went public with their relationship last summer and have since been supporting one another. Megan has shown up at several Dallas Mavericks games in support of Thompson, and the NBA star was at the rapper's Broadway debut at Moulin Rouge!

They would also take fans alongside them as they worked out together, date nights on the golf course, and their fishing trips on Thompson's boat. Megan even spent Thanksgiving with Thompson's family last year. More recently, they each had extravagant birthday celebrations where Megan was gifted a blue Bentley.
