Hours after Cori Broadus announced the death of her 10-month-old baby, her dad Snoop Dogg emphasized the family’s unwavering support.
Snoop Dogg’s Daughter Cori Broadus Mourns Death of 10-Month-Old Baby

After the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” hitmaker’s daughter shared that her and fiancé Wayne Deuce's 10-month-old baby girl Codi Dreaux—who was born three months premature—died on Jan. 26, Snoop made it clear that his family is standing united in their time of mourning.
Indeed, the 54-year-old (born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr.) shared a photo of himself with Cori, 26, as well as his sons Corde, 31, and Cordell, 28—all of whom he shares with wife Shante Broadus.
In the Jan. 31 Instagram post, Snoop—who also shares son Julian, 27, with Laurie Helmond—posed behind his three kids while Cori is seated in the middle, giving the camera a small smile. Keeping the caption simple, the “Young, Wild & Free” rapper simply wrote a pink heart and prayer hands emoji.
His post comes hours after Cori announced that her baby died just 20 days after bringing her home from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
"Monday, I lost the love of my life," Cori wrote on her Instagram Story alongside a photo with her baby girl. "My Codi."
And Wayne also paid tribute to his little girl’s life.
"I been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux,” he wrote in his own Instagram Story post Jan. 31. “But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you."
Only three weeks ago, Cori was celebrating being able to bring Codi home from the hospital following the baby’s extended stay.
"She’s home," Cori captioned her Jan. 6 Instagram post that featured sweet photos and videos of Cori snuggling her baby. "Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all."

Previously, Cori announced that she welcomed Codi last February after giving birth at 25 weeks.
"The princess arrived at 6 months," she wrote on Instagram at the time. "I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself because I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed. But no matter what God always shows me that He got me!"
"Baby girl came at 25 weeks today and she’s the best!!" Cori continued. "Thank You God for getting me this far."
