SNL star shoots his shot at Megan Thee Stallion amid Klay Thompson split

This comedian is not wasting any time trying to get a date with Megan Thee Stallion.

Saturday Night Live star Kam Patterson recently appeared on Shannon Sharpe's podcast, Club Shay Shay, when he told the two-time Super Bowl champion that he's not giving up on trying to date the rapper. He spoke about his moment on the sketch comedy and explained why he had to do it. 

"The shot had to be shot," he said of his pleas on SNL last month. "I'm still shooting."

"Megan Thee Stallion, I love you. Understand that, I love you," he said while looking into the camera. "Whatever Klay did, he's wrong."

Sharpe brought up the fact that she could still be "grieving" her relationship with Thompson. The two broke up in April after the rapper accused him of cheating.

However, that doesn't seem to bother Patterson, noting that "She'll be all right."

"We'll figure out. I'll get you flowers. You like flowers?" he asked.

He then assured that he is not as rich as her ex but that he is infatuated with the rapper.

"But I promise you, I love you," he assured the superstar. 

Patterson, who joined SNL last year, tried to catch the rapper's attention during the "Weekend Update" segment on May 3.

However, he did share that he is also interested in Bronx rapper Ice Spice and Grammy-winning Olivia Dean, alongside Megan.

"That's my top three right there," he said.

Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson's relationship

Megan shocked fans back in April when she accused the four-time NBA champion of cheating on her. 

“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet’ Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous’???? bitch I need a REAL break after this one .. bye yall,” Megan wrote on her Instagram Story at the time.

She then later confirmed that the two have ended their romantic relationship. The couple was together for about nine months.

“I've made the decision to end my relationship with Klay," Megan said in a statement per People. "Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there's no real path forward. I'm taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”

While its been months since their breakup, Thompson has not yet addressed Megan's claims.
