Olivia “Livvy” Dunne has retired from gymnastics, but her post-collegiate content creation and sponsorships have proven to be hotter than ever.

And now she’s on top of the world, thanks to her sizzling cover of the 2025 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. For the sure-to-be collector’s issue, the gymnast, 22, rocks the cover in — not surprisingly — a teeny bikini. The fashion-forward, tiny bathing suit mixes animal prints: zebra for the top, and snakeskin for the bottoms.

For one of four covers that hit newsstands on Saturday, May 17 — Dunne joins fellow gymnast Jordan Chiles, Hollywood superstar Salma Hayek Pinault and inclusive fashion model Lauren Chan — the stunner turns up the heat in Bermuda for a sun-kissed photo shoot. On the cover, Dunne kneels in the pristine turquoise waters of the tropical locale.

Inside photos include the gymnast flaunting her flexibility in a strappy, barely-there swimsuit. On her head? A backwards baseball cap, seemingly a nod to her boyfriend, Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes. She also shows off an impressive calf muscle in a cheeky two-piece, among other looks — an article published in SI on Tuesday, May 13 has a full gallery of the pics.

This is Dunne’s third consecutive appearance in the crowd favorite swimsuit edition of the storied sports magazine but the first time on its cover (in October 2023, she joined basketball star Angel Reese on the non-swimsuit edition cover for an article about women’s NIL earnings). In spring 2023, the bikini-clad gymnast performed split jumps on a Puerto Rican beach for her inside feature of the magazine; the next year, she was photographed in historical Portugal.

Dunne’s cover was shot by renowned photographer Ben Watts, who also shot Ilona Maher, Ellie Thumann, Brooks Nader, Achieng Agutu, Lauren Chan, Jena Sims and Kate Austin for the issue.
