Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Jessi Draper Reveals Why She Shared Her Plastic Surgery Journey

Layla Taylor isn’t keeping her relationship status a secret.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star confirmed her breakup with Mason McWhorter after fans noticed that they no longer followed each other on social media, which led to speculation about their romance of nearly one year.

“Me and Mason are no longer together, and it's still super fresh,” she said through tears in a video posted on TikTok Feb. 7. “I think some people are confused because they just saw us in New York together, and now things are gone from each other's pages and we don't follow each other anymore. So it's obviously very recent.”

“I think we were just on two different paths right now, and he felt in order for him to grow, he had to be on his own,” the 24-year-old continued. “I respect his decision, and I truly hope that he gets what he wants in life.”

While Layla—who shares kids Oliver, 4, and Maxwell, 3, with ex-husband Clayton Wessel—noted that there was “no bad blood” between her and Mason, 25, she posted another clip on the social media platform indicating that she may have had a change of heart.

“I take back there being ‘no bad blood,’” she wrote in onscreen text on the TikTok video—which did not mention Mason by name—adding in the caption, “All while texting me he missed me the same morning and couldn’t stop crying…glad growing is off to a great start.”

Meanwhile, several of Layla’s SLOMW castmates lent their support in the comment sections of her posts including Taylor Frankie Paul, who offered a mending heart emoji alongside the message, “We’re here for you my girl.”

Jaime—who shares kids James and Leo with ex Kyle Newman—further shut down any suggestion of infidelity as a cause for the breakup, adding, “Any recent interactions being referenced publicly were strictly professional business meetings and have no connection to this private matter.”
