Tennis icon Serena Williams is officially the recipient of the prestigious Princess of Asturias Award for Sports, which she received on Friday, October 24 in Oviedo, Spain. She took to social media to show off her stunning outfit for the awards ceremony.
For the big event, she sizzled in a red-hot, floor-length gown, with her long blonde hair worn down. The dress had an asymmetrical neckline that gathered on one shoulder and dramatic draping that cinched at the waist. She is noticeably thinner after coming out publicly about losing 31 pounds on GLP-1 meds for her health.

“Feeling deeply honored to receive the Princess of Asturias Award for Sports in Northern Spain,” she captioned her Instagram post showing her look. “This award has been presented to so many remarkable individuals over the years, and to be recognized as part of that legacy is truly humbling. Thank you to everyone who has supported me on and off the court.”
“Officially a princess!!!” commented her husband of 11 years, Alexis Ohanian. “You deserve it all.”

Williams, 44, already boasts a long list of awards, including multiple ESPYs, Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year (2015), BET Awards and many more. She has 23 Grand Slam single titles and 14 doubles (with her sister Venus), and is also a four-time Olympic gold medalist. Her list of records is long as well.
While in Spain, she endeared herself to locals when she said that she is a huge fan of the country’s star player, Carolos Alcaraz — who’s currently ranked No. 1 in the world.
Williams and Ohanian, an entrepreneur, share share two daughters, Olympia and Adira.
