The Denver Broncos were able to get a massive win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, a win that not only shocked the NFL world, but one that put the Broncos smack dab in the middle of the map of Super Bowl contenders... again.
The Broncos overcame a 17-3 fourth-quarter deficit to win in Philadelphia, improving to 3-2 on the season and greatly improving their overall season outlook. The Broncos will now face the New York Jets in London with a chance to start a real run.
But before that happens, sports media personality Skip Bayless felt that the Broncos were given a win by the referees on Sunday, based on this tweet.
Th Eagles just got ROBBED at home. The overturned grounding. The late hit on Baun as ballcarrier fought for the 1st. The 2nd-to-last-play uncalled pass interference at the goal line on Goedert by a jersey-grabbing Skinner.
— Skip Bayless (@RealSkipBayless) October 5, 2025Robbed? That's one way to put it, others would say that the Eagles just failed to execute down the stretch. Let's break this down piece by piece.
The overturned grounding was a borderline call to begin with. The official threw the flag but allowed Bo Nix to plead his case. Eagles fans won't agree, but the flag was picked up.
The call on Zack Baun was not even questionable. That's a late hit in the first quarter so it's a late hit in a key stage of the game as well.
The non-call on JL Skinner would have been a tough one to make either way. Skinner was flagged once already on the drive for pass interference against Dallas Goedert and you can make the argument that neither one should have been called, or both of them should have been called.

It's far from a robbery. And with the way the Broncos were beaten by the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2, they don't want to hear it.
