Skai Jackson’s boyfriend and the father of her unborn baby, Deondre Burgin, was arrested for a parole violation one day after she confirmed her pregnancy.
Burgin was detained Wednesday afternoon in Cincinnati, Ohio, after a brief run-in with law enforcement, per a police report obtained by TMZ.
The report says the dad-to-be attempted to flee when officers approached to pick him up on a juvenile parole violation warrant.
Burgin fell while running from the cops and wound up with a cut on his left cheek.
A video of the incident showed Burgin being wrestled to the ground by two police officers who forced him onto his stomach and cuffed his wrists behind his back.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Burgin — who goes by the name Yerky on social media — was cited for misdemeanor obstruction of official business before being released.
Jackson, 22, confirmed she was expecting on Tuesday after she was photographed shopping for baby clothes with her pregnant belly on full display.

“I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter in my life — embracing motherhood and diving into new acting projects. My heart is so full!” the Disney Channel alum told People.
The pregnancy rumors began swirling in August when Jackson was arrested for domestic battery.
The actress allegedly got into a physical altercation with her boyfriend at Universal CityWalk in Los Angeles.
However, the couple denied claims they were fighting, with sources telling TMZ they were “happily engaged” and expecting a baby.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department ultimately decided not to file charges against Jackson.
“Skai is relieved that the investigation revealed that this was nothing more than a misunderstanding,” her rep told People in September.
“We appreciate that the DA determined very quickly that there should be no charges of any kind. Skai looks forward to putting this behind her.”
