Fans can count on Simone Biles to be on the sidelines supporting her husband, NFL Safety Jonathan Owens, no matter the temperature. And yesterday’s frigid game between the Chicago Bears and the Cleveland Browns was no exception — even if the windchill was dangerously below zero.
As temperatures plummeted around the country last week, Sunday’s game at Soldier Field called for bundling up. In true WAG style, while her Owens’ team took on the Browns, Biles faced the challenging weather head-on. Or at least, with her husband’s head on her coat.
The Olympian, 28, shared a get ready with me video on TikTok ahead of what she called the “coldest game” of the year, showing off a bright blue fur coat customized for the petite Mrs. Owens.
In a bright blue hue befitting the Chicago Bears, Biles’ coat read “Owens” down the front, with a variety of patches throughout, including one of her husband’s likeness and another with his number, 36.
Her base layer was all white and included a turtleneck and pants, with matching white knee-high boots. She wore her long hair parted in the middle, curled and loose around her shoulders.
She amped up the glam with metallic silver lashes and wore dangly earrings with the number 36 also in each ear.
While getting ready, the gymnast shared, “Today is going to be the coldest game… I think it’s 6 degrees. We have a negative-20 wind chill,” adding, “They might not even let us down on the field today because of how cold it’s gonna be.”
If anything was going to keep Biles cozy amidst those temperatures, though, this coat was certainly an eye-catching option.
Much like fellow NFL WAG, Taylor Swift, Biles loves to dress for games with tributes to the team and her professional athlete partner.
In addition to tops inspired by his jersey, color-coordinated outfits, and subtle placements of his number 36, Biles even attended a game last year in an outfit made entirely of photos of Owens himself.
How’s that for dedication?
The 28-year-old often uses TikTok to speak directly with her fans, and recently shared the three plastic surgeries she’s had, including a detailed run-down of her latest: a breast augmentation.
