Should I start Alvin Kamara in fantasy Week 7? Saints RB outlook vs. Bears with Kendre Miller and an injury involved

3 hours ago 1

The New Orleans Saints are in a situation that has Alvin Kamara involved in trade rumors.

But the star running back doesn't want to get sent away, and he's made that clear publicly multiple times, despite the Saints being 1-5.

For as long as Kamara is in New Orleans, he has the chance at having some strong games for his fantasy football managers, even if he hasn't been perfect lately.

The added involvement of Kendre Miller makes things a bit more complicated for Kamara lineup decisions, too, as does an ankle injury.

But in Week 7 against the Chicago Bears, it still isn't all that complicated.

Should I start Alvin Kamara in fantasy Week 7?

If Kamara ends up being forced to miss the game with an ankle injury, that obviously makes the decision for you.

But if Kamara is active, he should be in your starting lineup in fantasy with very few exceptions.

Kamara definitely deserves to be in for PPR formats. He just had five catches for 45 yards last week.

The key for Kamara is that he still gets his touches. His fewest touches in a game this season is 12.

The upside isn't what it used to be with Kamara, but he's still on the field a lot, and at RB, it's hard to sit versatile backs who get as much action as Kamara.

The only way to sit Kamara is if you have multiple clearly superior backs. But don't get too cute to bench Kamara, because that might not work out.
