Horrifying video captured the moment a Wisconsin police officer fatally shot a man who authorities say stabbed him while resisting arrest.
The chilling cellphone video starts off by showing three cops wrestling with the suspect in the middle of an intersection in Madison, before a female officer enters the mix and begins to repeatedly yell, “Taser, taser!”
As the man appears to collapse to the ground, one of the other officers is seen firing his gun three times at the suspect.

One witness can be heard wailing, “No!” in the background of the video, which then shows the firing officer and a second cop kneeling over the man’s dead body.
The disturbing clip appears to show blood pooling on the concrete surrounding the face-down suspect.
“Shots fired, roll EMS,” one officer can be heard saying into the radio pinned to his uniform.
The clip, which has circulated largely across social media since the broad-daylight shooting Wednesday, shows only one perspective of what happened, Madison Police Chief John Patterson said during a news conference.
Cops had been responding to calls that someone was trying to enter parked cars in the neighborhood when the harrowing incident unfolded, Patterson said.
The suspect – whose street bike was seen lying nearby in the cellphone video – either fell off the bike or was taken off of it by officers, the chief explained.
That’s when he pulled out a knife and injured the same police officer who later shot the suspect, he said, adding that the shooter was a veteran cop.
Another officer had deployed a taser but it was unsuccessful, according to Patterson.
The suspect, who has yet to be identified publicly, later died at a local hospital.
The incident has roiled the city of Madison and Gov. Tony Evers, who called for “transparency and accountability” throughout any investigation into the shooting.
