The Issue: The murder of 18-year-old Chicago student Sheridan Gorman by an illegal immigrant.

How unfortunate that the once great city of Chicago is led by a bunch of fools who’d rather attack President Trump’s war on criminal illegal aliens than protect Americans like Sheridan Gorman (“Pol’s in wrong place,” Kirsten Fleming, March 25).

Are these really the people who residents of Chicago voted into office?

If so, they need to smarten up before they might go out for a walk and find themselves in the “wrong place” at the “wrong time.”

Kudos to Kirsten Fleming and The Post for saying what the gutless media has failed to say in reporting the murder of Gorman.

Why would Dems be honest?

It would only prove this administration’s actions on deportation are greatly warranted.

I typically don’t wish evil on anyone, but hopefully karma prevails and these dirt-bags and their families become victims of those they protect just to spite Trump.

Isn’t it amazing the Democrats want ICE to not wear masks and be civil, yet they say nothing about the people who wear masks to commit violent crimes?

Gorman was killed by a man wearing a mask who people are now saying was startled when she walked up on him.

Come on — he was wearing a mask so he could go unrecognizable after what he did.

Period.

Stop making foolish statements and siding with the criminals.

Gorman was shot dead by an illegal migrant for no reason.

This woman was walking with her friends, enjoying life, then, in a moment, her life was no more.

It’s a tragic horror.

What’s even more tragic is that Chicago Alderwoman Maria Hadden said Gorman was in the wrong place at the wrong time and probably startled this product of hell.

Where do these people come from?

Louie Scarcella

I have to say I partially agree with Hadden’s remark that Loyola student Sheridan Gorman was murdered because she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I believe the wrong place is the city of Chicago and the wrong time is now.

Jose Medina-Medina should’ve never been in this country. Democrats’ response to this crime is sickening.

Maria Hadden said that Sheridan was in the wrong place at the wrong time and that she “startled” the gunman. Gorman had every right to be on the street.

Hadden is a typical idiot Democrat and should be fired for her callous remarks, which proves she cares more about criminals than decent citizens.

To say Gorman was in the “wrong place, wrong time” when she was senselessly murdered in Chicago, as Hadden claimed, is like saying Jesus Christ was in the wrong place at the wrong time on The Mount of Olives.

If Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson and Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker had not encouraged Chicagoans to impede ICE agents, there is a possibility that Jose Medina-Medina would have been arrested, and Sheridan Gorman would still be alive.

The blame lies with the Biden administration, which allowed violent criminals into our country, as well as leaders in sanctuary cities — like Johnson and Pritzker — who continue defending illegals.

It isn’t ICE that needs to be abolished, it’s Johnson and Pritzker. Illinois needs some common-sense leadership.

How many American citizens have to lose their lives at the hands of illegal immigrants who shouldn’t be here?

The left is quick to say the names of the two people killed in Minnesota, one of whom nearly ran over an ICE officer and the other who brought a gun to a protest.

But for Sheridan Gorman and others murdered by illegal immigrants, there’s nothing but silence.
