Shedeur Sanders is entering a deep quarterback room in Cleveland, but who says he can't win the starting job?
The betting public, that's who.
DraftKings Sportsbook posted some betting data from the Browns' starting QB battle on 'X' and the results were surprising.
As of a few days after the draft, 87% of the bets and 92% of the money are on Joe Flacco to take the first snap of week one for Cleveland.

Flacco has the support of most bettors but Sanders is right behind him. Pickett is the frontrunner after looking good in limited appearances as an Eagle last season. Gabriel could be a long shot. Anyone betting on Watson should donate that money to charity.
The bad news for Shedeur is that a bet that garners 92% of the money is probably a sharp play. Bettors view Flacco as the best value option with Pickett at even money. So while Pickett could end up starting, the betting public is choosing Flacco over Sanders as the best bang for their buck.
Flacco threw for 1,616 yards and 13 touchdowns in 5 games for Cleveland in 2023. Sanders will try to ensure that he's the one slinging the rock for the Browns in 2025.
