Stories like this make us mad at humanity and give us hope for humanity at the same time. The thought of that little thing being driven over by countless cars, with no one stopping to help her, or at the very least move her off to the side, makes us so, so angry. But that's not exactly right, is it? Because someone did stop. This person saw the kitty, heard her cry for help, and actually walked into the busy road to save her. That is what we should focus on.

Never in our lives have we heard of a disabled paw stopping a cat from doing anything. It's one of the reasons that we love them as much as we do. If there is a cat in the house, then there will be chaos, and nothing else matters.
