WNBA fans were alarmed after another alleged stalker incident involving Caitlin Clark. The Indiana Fever star was in Durham, North Carolina, along with other WNBA stars for Team USA's training camp. Clark had a notorious stalker who was sentenced to jail earlier this year.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, a fan with username @lunasf4vs shared a screenshot from TikTok about another fan claiming that there was a Clark stalker in Durham. The alleged stalker was in the team's hotel, though there's no official report about the incident.

Clark did have a security detail before getting into Day 3 of the training camp, but it's probably a standard procedure. She's arguably the most popular WNBA player today, and she has a history of having a stalker, so it was better to be safe than sorry.

WNBA fans reacted to the alleged stalking incident on social media, with many showing concern and anger. Caitlin Clark just returned to the court after spending most of last season on the sidelines with multiple muscle-related injuries that limited her to just 13 games.

Here are some of the comments on X.

She should be allowed to shoot people.

The stalker is in jail. So prob a different one… how sad. 😭

There's probably more then 1 that is stalking her

CC has alot of stalkers, she just wanted to play she's 23 years old wants to have fun and do what a 23 years old do but that's what she saying all that she love sleeping than going out. 😔

Noooo!!😢 why can't everybody just leave her the f*ck alone? Sh*t is out of hand!!

if this true.. she’s in a try out for her dream to make the national team & that happens? can we please start taking women’s safety serious omg

Caitlin Clark has a chance to represent the United States if she gets selected to be part of next year's roster for the 2026 FIBA World Cup. Clark was a surprising omission from last year's Olympics, with many of her fans and basketball analysts fuming because it was a missed opportunity to promote women's basketball abroad.

Other top stars in training camp include Paige Bueckers, Angel Reese, Aliyah Boston, Sonia Citron, JuJu Watkins and Lauren Betts.

Caitlin Clark stalker sentenced to jail in July

Amid the 2024 WNBA season, Caitlin Clark had to endure a stalker's harassment before authorities stepped in. Clark was threatened by a 55-year-old man from Texas who was eventually arrested in a hotel in Indianapolis in January, as reported by ESPN.

The man sent hundreds of messages to Clark, who had to hire a security team to keep herself safe. The stalker reportedly believed that he was in a two-year relationship with the basketball star, with some of the texts being sexually aggressive.

Six months after the man's arrest, he was sentenced to two and a half years in prison. The judge also recommended psychiatric evaluation for the stalker, who claimed that the world was ending during his sentencing.

Clark was also not the first WNBA player to have a stalker arrested. Paige Bueckers was briefly terrorized by an Oregon man last year before he was sentenced to a one-year suspended sentence and three years of probation.
