“She is the best” - Fans react to Stamp Fairtex showing blistering speed in latest training footage for Kana

Fans have not seen Thai superstar Stamp Fairtex in action for over two years. The wait, however, is about to end as she returns to the Circle next week in Japan.

The former three-sport ONE world champion is one of the superstars featured at ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri on Nov. 16. She will face veteran Japanese fighter Kana Morimoto in an atomweight kickboxing joust at the stacked event happening at Tokyo's Ariake Arena.

ONE Championship amplified anticipation for Stamp's return by posting on Instagram the latest footage from her training, including the speed she showcased while she worked on her striking.

Fans immediately took to the comments section and shared their thoughts on the Fairtex Training Center standout's impending return at ONE 173.

Stamp was last in action in September 2023, where she won the vacant atomweight MMA world title. Last year, she injured her knee while training for her scheduled defense of the belt against Denice Zamboanga. Her recovery took longer than expected, forcing her to give up the MMA belt and allow things to move on in the division.

Stamp having mixed emotions ahead of return at ONE 173

Stamp is excited to make her long-awaited return to action at ONE 173 but admits she is also feeling nervous after being away from competition for some time.

She opened up about it in an interview with ONE Championship, sharing how like many observers, she, too, is interested in how her body will react on fight night and how she will perform.

"I feel excited, and also nervous. I won't know the full extent of my body's condition and capability until I actually step in to fight."

At ONE 173, Stamp returns to kickboxing after competing in MMA in her last two matches.

She is going against an opponent in Kana Morimoto, who is looking to make it a winning outing in front of the Japanese fans.
