Candace Owens and Erika Kirk recently had a meeting amidst their feud on interviews and social media. After that, the former said that she didn't even drink the water at the location of their meeting due to potential security risks.
Candace Owens has been spreading a lot of conspiracy theories about Charlie Kirk's death in the last three months. Charlie was assassinated during a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University on September 10. She has even claimed that some TPUSA members were allegedly involved in his death.
Meanwhile, Erika Kirk, the new Turning Point USA CEO, has defended the organization and slammed the people spreading such theories. As they feud online, Kirk and Owens set up a meeting on Monday, December 15, which went on for a few hours.
In a video on her YouTube channel, published on Tuesday, Owens spoke about her meeting with Kirk. In one part of the video, she said:
"I didn't know what EriKa's energy was going to be like, if it was gonna be more of an argument, if there was gonna be legal threats. You guys were telling me not to drink water, so I didn't drink water, while I brought my own water, but I didn't drink that water, too. It was a lot."Users online have reacted to this clip, as one X (formerly Twitter) user wrote:
"In other words you agree that she has legitimate fears for her life"@officer_Lew In other words you agree that she has legitimate fears for her life
Another wrote,
@officer_Lew She’s being deceptive and her mannerisms are very unserious.
Another commented,
@officer_Lew She really needs to move on with her rhetoric over the Kirk family.
Some users spoke about the fact that Erika Kirk reportedly flew to meet Candace Owens and not the other way around, as one tweeted,
@officer_Lew Was going to poison herself? Didn’t Erika fly to her in Nashville?
Another wrote,
@officer_Lew Also didn’t Erika fly out to Candace . So technically it’s all Candace’s own water. Unless they met in public at like a restaurant or something rather than Candace’s house. But still though. It’s Candace’s home turf not Erika’s.
Another commented,
@officer_Lew Theatrics. A shame. I used to think better of her.

Owens, notably, also used the word "productive" to describe their meeting in a post on X. She stated that she asked Erika questions about Turning Point USA, Egyptian planes, and much more, and added that she was surprised by some answers. Sharing an update, Owens tweeted:
"Erika and I had an extremely productive 4 1/2 hour meeting that I think we both feel should have taken place a lot earlier than it did. We agreed much more than I had anticipated. Of course, we also disagreed on various points and people as well. Most importantly, we were able to share intel and clarify intent."She said that while further details will be revealed in time, the "tensions were thawed" between her and Erika. It's important to note that Owens was a former Turning Point USA employee.
