Shaun White spotted with mystery woman amid Nina Dobrev split

Almost a year after Shaun White and Nina Dobrev went their separate ways, the Olympic snowboarder was seen out with a mystery woman.

According to photos obtained by TMZ, White was seen in West Hollywood with a blonde woman at the Lala Land Kind Cafe. They reportedly arrived together and spent some time taking a seat in the café. White and the unnamed woman then left together in the same car.   

While fans were insinuating that the café meetup was more than friendly, there was reportedly no PDA between the two, and sources told the outlet that it was "strictly platonic."

Since the split with Dobrev last year, White has been spending time with a woman named Angela who is reportedly the athlete's girlfriend. They have been seen together around New York City in recent months riding bikes and having a meal together in the Lower East Side.

Last year, White and Dobrev broke up after five years together. The two were engaged after White proposed in 2024. Neither the Olympian nor the actress has shared why they decided to end their relationship, but according to a source per The Daily Mail, White wanted to start a family, and Dobrev wants to focus on her career.

“Shaun is retired and has had his last Olympics; he was very ready for marriage and kids and all that comes from that,” the insider explained at the time. White's last competition was at the Beijing 2022 Winter Games. He finished fourth in the men’s halfpipe event.

“He was gearing up to be a father and wanting that life,” they continued. “As much as they had the same ideals and wanted to enjoy the same ride, they naturally couldn’t come together on a common goal and that was the strain on their relationship.”

While White might have begun dating again, Dobrev was linked to Zac Efron, but that was debunked by the actress herself noting that they are just friends.
