Serena Williams' husband, Alexis Ohanian, was snubbed by his daughter Olympia, who shared her favorite athlete during a recent interview. The former Reddit co-founder often reshares adorable clips of his two daughters, and he was not going to miss this time either, even though Olympia sided with her mother.
In the video Ohanian shared, Olympia was asked several questions, including who her favorite athlete is. Williams' elder daughter named her mother, who is a 23-time Grand Slam champion.
"Um, my favorite athlete is mommy," Olympia said.Ohanian, who is promoting a women-only track and field event at Athlos, was first shocked by the answer since he was not picked.
"What? What about Papa?" Ohanian asked. "You're not an athlete," Olympia replied. "That's true. That's very true," Ohanian added.Ohanian then reshared this interview on his X profile, while commenting:
"I was robbed."The interviewer also asked Olympia about what type of questions she would like to ask athletes participating in Athlos.
"I want to ask, um, what's their favorite motion? What's their favorite color? And are you enjoying athletics?" Olympia shared.Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian reveals Olympia's maternal spirit towards young sister Adira
Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian first welcomed Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. in 2017 and then again became parents to their second daughter, Adira River Ohanian, in August 2023.
The two sisters have quite an age gap between them, but it has resulted in maternal spirit coming out of Olympia for Adira. During an exclusive interview with People last year, Ohanian spoke about the personalities of both of her daughters.
"It's a big age gap, and Olympia has a little bit of that maternal spirit. She's like, 'This is my baby,' and it's great to see them together," Ohanian said. "They play and sort and wrestle and all that. We're very lucky because Adira's got a great personality and Olympia does too, plus she's so excited to be a big sis. So seeing the two of them interact with each other has been a special kind of fun. Adira's getting more mobile and ore vocal, and it's only going to get even more fun."Alexis Ohanian also acknowledged that at some point in the future, probably when they'll become teenagers, the two sisters will "fight over things," but right now, there are nice spirits.
