• Oh brother, this is one of those situations that really ought to be handled with more humility than they usually are. Anyone who is rung up like that to be told the cat they abandoned somewhere has been found is obviously going to feel shameful about the incident and not feel as though they can say directly that they do not want the cat any longer. Especially if the people you are talking to are expecting you to come and get the cat. So you are left with only ghosting as a way to hide your shame. But in reality it would have been much better had this hooman not have had to waste everyone’s time and just say they were not coming. Either way, it is a gentle reminder that these situations are not easy for anyone and everyone deserves some sort of compassion and understanding.

• Thank goodness for these kind of good cat loving people. Without them who is to say what would happen to a sweet feline like this left to fend for itself out in the big wide world? And with their help and support it seems that this cat, while not having a permanent home yet, will go on to live a life of love and luxury with whomever is lucky enough to be deemed worthy of adopting it. It really just goes to show how the night is darkest right before its dawn.
