Jenna Ortega's Diamond-Encrusted Emmys 2025 Look Is Her Riskiest Yet
For Selena Gomez, bringing together an epic look comes naturally.
And the 2025 Emmys is no exception. For this year's ceremony—where her series Only Murders in the Building has received its fourth Outstanding Comedy Series nomination—she was a vision in red on the red carpet.
Indeed, Selena arrived in a custom Louis Vuitton gown featuring a faux scarf that wrapped her neck before cascading down her back. She opted for a peachy makeup look and her hair in a slicked-back ponytail. She completed her ensemble with sparkling stud earrings.
But her best accessory of all is fiancé Benny Blanco, who walked at Selena's side dressed in all black. (See every star on the red carpet here.)
Though, unlike the 2024 event, Selena hasn't received a nomination for her acting work in the series, she and costar Steve Martin are ready to cheer on Martin Short should he take home the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.
Though this is Martin’s fourth nomination for his role in Only Murders, the competition is stiff. The 75-year-old is nominated in the category alongside Adam Brody (Nobody Wants This), Seth Rogen (The Studio), Jason Segel (Shrinking) and Jeremy Allen White (The Bear).
Only Murders in the Building as a series, too, is facing down a well stacked category. Other series nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series include Abbott Elementary, The Bear, Hacks, Nobody Wants This, Shrinking, The Studio and What We Do in the Shadows.
But whether or not Only Murders is awarded the trophy, Selena is already a winner getting to work with Steve and Martin, two of comedy’s greats.

“I’m so happy that it’s been five years working with Steve and Marty,” she told E! News earlier this month. “It’s been a blast and every year I feel that we get closer and then it’s just stronger.”
The Rare Beauty founder added, “I feel really fortunate and blessed.”
And the feeling is mutual, with Steve and Martin feeling lucky to watch Selena grow up, in a sense, before their very eyes. “She went from 28 to 33,” Steve explained, “and so much has happened in her life.”

One of those major moments being her engagement to Benny, which the Cheaper by the Dozen alum and Martin were sure to celebrate.
"Congratulations to Benny and Selena," Steve wrote on Instagram in December, alongside a 2021 pic of the three cast members standing together, "from her two weird uncles."
