Selena Gomez’s Golden Globes Red Carpet Look Is Spellbinding

Selena Gomez arrived at the 2026 Golden Globes Jan. 11 in style alongside husband Benny Blanco. The Only Murders in the Building star is nominated for Best Female Actor—TV—Musical/Comedy at ceremony.

Selena Gomez is bewitching the Golden Globes audience.

After all, when the Only Murders in the Building star stepped onto the carpet of The Beverly Hilton for the annual award show—hosted once again by Nikki Glaser—on Jan. 11, she did so in a stunning Chanel look. (See all the celebrities at the Golden Globes here.)

The gown featured a simple, long black skirt, allowing the off-the-shoulder, white feathered neckline to do all the talking. And indeed, Selena kept the rest of her glam straightforward, opting for no jewelry (save for her wedding rings), her short bob done in classic Hollywood waves and a dark red lip adorning her face.

The outfit is a major departure from the powder blue, off-the-shoulder gown she wore to last year's ceremony, which the Wizards of Waverly Place alum described at the time as Cinderella meets Jackie Kennedy Onassis.

But one accessory that hasn’t changed? Benny Blanco is still by Selena’s side, though this year he’s graduated from fiancé to husband. He even dressed the part, looking his wife’s perfect complement in a black suit and embroidered loafers.

This year, Selena is once again nominated for her work in Only Murders in the Building, as her costars Steve Martin and Martin Short.

Of earning another nomination, Selena shared in a statement, "Thank you Golden Globes for our recognition after five seasons. I'm deeply grateful and forever honored."

The nod comes after the 33-year-old was nominated in two categories at the 2025 ceremony, one again for her work in the comedy series as well as a nod for her performance in Emilia Pérez

For Selena, the double nod felt “unbelievable,” adding to E! News that acting is where her “heart deeply, deeply lies.”

The beauty mogul also spoke to her hopes that her recognition in the film world for Emilia Pérez was just the beginning of more opportunities in the field.

“I think that this was a wonderful stepping stone,” she said of the film, “into hopefully showing people how much I care. And I’m willing to go there as a performer and it’s so liberating—so I hope there’s just more projects to come.”

When Selena isn't in front of a camera, she's putting her focus on her Rare Impact Fund, which has raised nearly $25 million to provide mental health services for underserved communities.

"What began five years ago as a dream to make mental health resources more accessible for young people has grown into a global community of organizations," the Rare Beauty founder wrote on Instagram in October, "leaders and supporters changing lives every single day."
