The Newport Beach Police Department released shocking video of “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum Lydia McLaughlin’s brother’s final moments before an officer shot him dead last month.

In the bodycam footage taken on April 17 and obtained by Page Six on Thursday, Geoffrey Shyam Stirling is seen being pulled over by police while riding on a motorcycle, claiming he is “fully sober.”

“I’m just trying to stay safe,” he tells the officer. “People have almost been hitting me all day.”

When the officer instructs him to sit on the sidewalk, Stirling then becomes increasingly uncooperative.

“I don’t care what you’re telling me to do,” he can be heard saying in the audio before attempting to get back on his bike seemingly to ride off.

For several seconds, Stirling refuses to sit and starts walking backward despite oncoming traffic beside him, prompting the officer to tell a colleague over the radio that he is being “uncooperative.”

The cop then explains to Stirling that he “ran a red light” and that is why he was pulled over. The officer seemingly even tries to deescalate the situation by telling the 45-year-old, “We’ll figure it out. Sound deal?”

Stirling then reaches for his ID and tells the officer, “Don’t shoot me” but continues to not cooperate.

“Sit down, dude. You ran a red light. You’re pissing yourself,” the officer then says.

When the cop takes a few steps away to speak to the radio again, Stirling walks in his direction, prompting the officer to try to detain him. A scuffle between the two men ensues, and they are then seen physically fighting toward the main road.

At one point, the officer tries kicking Stirling to stop him, but when the altercation continues, the officer backs up, pulls out his gun, yells, “Drop it! — referencing a taser that Stirling removed from the cop’s duty belt — and then shoots when the latter refuses to let go of the item.

The officer fires off about six shots, prompting Stirling to finally fall onto the ground.

The video corroborates what Newport Beach police previously told Page Six: “During the ensuing violent altercation, Stirling managed to remove the department-issued taser from the officer’s duty belt and attempted to deploy it multiple times against the officer.”

Public information officer Steve Oberon also pointed out in Thursday’s video, “Seconds after the officer-involved shooting, additional officers arrived on scene and formulated a plan to take Mr. Stirling into custody and begin administering medical aid.”

The sergeant added that the Newport Beach Fire Department arrived on the scene shortly after to overtake medical treatment, but Stirling died at a nearby hospital later that day.

Page Six has reached out to McLaughlin’s reps for comment on the newly released video of her brother’s death but did not immediately hear back.

The former Bravolebrity told TMZ when the incident first occurred that she and her family were “devastated” over the loss.

“We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support from friends, family and the community. We kindly ask for privacy as we mourn,” she added in a statement.

Earlier this week, McLaughlin, 44, shared that her family had laid Stirling to rest.

“Just six months ago, we stood in this same place, grieving the loss of my mom. 🪽 My heart is broken, and the shock still hasn’t settled. 💔,” she wrote in a tribute to him via Instagram alongside his photo.

“But even in the sorrow, I cling to what I know is true: God is good. He is in control. I am not.”

Further referencing her faith, McLaughlin concluded, “My brother is now with my mom, and I hold onto the promise that one day, we’ll all be reunited. Until then, I will miss them every single day. 💫🕊️🤍🙏🏼.”
