Melania Trump is first in Inauguration Day fashion this year.
After all, the First Lady of the United States stepped out alongside her husband President Donald Trump looking glamorous for the Liberty Inaugural Ball in Washington D.C. on Jan. 20.
For the monumental festivities, Melania—who already turned heads with her massive black-and-white hat at the 2025 Presidential Inauguration earlier today—shared her first dance with the newly appointed POTUS while rocking a white satin strapless gown with black line detailing wrapping around the bodice. And to top off her ensemble, she accessorized with a matching black satin choker necklace featuring a silver pendant and wore her hair in long, loose waves.
As for the Apprentice alum, the 78-year-old—who was sworn in to office earlier that day as the 47th president of the United States—kept it classic, sporting a black tuxedo with a matching bowtie and white button-down shirt while joining her on stage.
And Melania's stylish 'fit wasn't the only show-stopping part of the annual ball. The event also featured performances from country singer Jason Aldean and disco band The Village People.
Melania—whose 18-year-old son Barron Trump also made an appearance during the weekend's festivities—won't just be in Washington D.C. to swear-in her husband. After all, the 54-year-old recently confirmed that she will be living at the White House during his four-year term.

"When I need to be in New York, I will be in New York. When I need to be in Palm Beach, I will be in Palm Beach," Melania said of her moving plans during a Jan. 13 appearance on Fox & Friends. "But my first priority is, you know, to be a mom, to be a first lady, to be a wife. And once we are in on Jan. 20, you serve the country.”
And the former model feels even more equipped to take on those responsibilities this time around, considering she's already gotten experience in the first lady role during the Art of the Deal author's first term as the 45th president of the United States.
“I feel I was always me the first time as well,” Melania said. “I just feel that people didn't accept me maybe. They didn't understand me the way maybe they do now. And I didn't have much support."
Emphasizing that she's not just "the wife of the president," she added, "I'm standing on my own two feet, independent. I have my own thoughts. I have my own yes and no. I don't always agree what my husband is saying or doing. And that's OK.”
