The Seattle Seahawks just won the Super Bowl in 2025, beating the New England Patriots in dominant fashion in the biggest game of the season.
While they lost a lot of key players in free agency, there is reason to believe that this Seahawks team is here to stay.
ESPN's Aaron Schatz, in his ranking of each team's players under 25 years old, ranked the Seahawks at No. 8, giving the reigning Super Bowl champions a top-10 placement for the best young cores in the NFL.
Seahawks have top-10 group of under-25 players in NFL per ESPN
"8. Seattle Seahawks. Last year's rank: 2. Blue chips: CB Nick Emmanwori, DT Byron Murphy II, WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, G Grey Zabel," Schatz writes.
The Seahawks roster has some incredible young talent, with this group of blue-chip players under 25 years old, one of the best in the league.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba is still under 25 years old, as are Emmanwori, Murphy, and Zabel. All are among the best players at their respective positions already, and they could get even better in 2026 for Seattle.
What makes this lofty ranking so notable is that, beyond earning a top-10 spot after winning the Super Bowl, they're still such a highly ranked team despite Anthony Bradford, Charles Cross, and Devon Witherspoon "graduating" from this group.

"The Seahawks rank in the top 10 despite having both starting offensive tackles and one of the best cornerbacks in the league age out," Schatz writes.
Including those players, and the Seahawks would have one of the best 25-and-under cores in the entire NFL. But, even without them, they're still one of the best young cores in the league.
Jadarian Price, Elijah Arroyo, AJ Barner, Tory Horton, Bud Clark, and Julian Neal make up some other notable players under 25 years old on the Seahawks roster.
This strong cast of players under 25 years old proves not only that the Seahawks are here to stay as contenders, but that they've been one of the best team-builders in the NFL in recent seasons.
