The Seattle Seahawks are playing the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 60. Going up against Drake Maye and Mike Vrabel, the Seahawks will need to play smart football without turning the ball over.
To do so, against a stingy Patriots defense, the Seahawks will need running back Kenneth Walker III to have one of the best games of his NFL career.
And ESPN's Stephania Bell predicts that will be just what happens. Bell predicts that Walker will have a 150-yard-plus Super Bowl performance, and it will be thanks in part to Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Sam Darnold.
Seahawks' Kenneth Walker gets bold 150-yard prediction from ESPN
"Kenneth Walker III posts 150-plus yards from scrimmage," Bell predicts. "Walker has averaged 120 yards from scrimmage in his past five games (including the playoffs), and he was in a committee the bulk of that time."
With Zach Charbonnet, unfortunately, out for the season after tearing his ACL in the NFC Division round against the San Francisco 49ers, the Seahawks have to lean on Walker a lot more than they normally would.
In a split backfield with Charbonnet, Walker recorded 1,027 rushing yards and five touchdowns this regular season. But once the playoffs began, and Walker was forced to take on more work, he turned into a superstar.
He has had 19 carries in each of the last two games and has run for a combined 178 yards with three touchdowns across those two games. Facing a tough Patriots run defense, Walker might have a tough time reaching 150 yards.

But that's why Bell predicted these yards would come from scrimmage. Walker, in two playoff games, has 78 receiving yards on seven receptions.
Against the Patriots' defense and their linebackers, Walker could have a huge game as a receiver out of the backfield.
Between his rushing and receiving production, putting up 150 yards from scrimmage as the bell-cow running back isn't that far-fetched, despite this being a bold prediction.
While it would be a huge performance, it wouldn't crack the top-10 for single-game Super Bowl performances unless he got to 161 yards. Walker will get the ball plenty in the Super Bowl, and a few big plays, and Walker could etch his name in NFL history.
