The Seattle Seahawks are coming off a devastating Week 5 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

They will look to rally back to winning form as they travel to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars on Sunday.

Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald gave an update on edge rusher Derick Hall after he exited the game against the Buccaneers with an apparent injury.

Macdonald: Derick Hall could miss multiple games with oblique injury

Mike Macdonald spoke on Seattle Sports and addressed the injury to edge rusher Derick Hall, saying that the 23-year-old suffered an oblique injury against the Buccaneers, and it looks like he could miss Sunday's matchup against the Jaguars as well as "maybe a couple games."

Although it's looking like Hall won't be suiting up moving forward, the Seahawks won't be placing the 2024 breakout edge rusher on injured reserve, The Athletic's Michael-Shawn Dugar reported

Hall has been quiet in 2025 after having a breakout season in 2024, where he tallied a career-high eight sacks in 17 games. He finished second on the team behind defensive end Leonard Williams.

The Seahawks' defense has been hit with a large list of injuries through five games this season. Hall will join the list that includes players like Devon Witherspoon (knee), Julian Love (hamstring), and DeMarcus Lawrence (quad).

DeMarcus Lawrence and Derick Hall are the top two edge rushers for the Seahawks. If they are unable to go in Week 6, Seattle will have to lean on players like Boye Mafe and Uchenna Nwosu.
