Kodansha is coming to San Diego Comic-Con and bringing some of its most popular properties and new books with them!
The manga publisher has revealed its SDCC ’25 plans as they will host a mini gallery featuring creators like Masamune Shirow (The Ghost in the Shell), Tetsuya Chiba (Ashita no Joe), and Saka Mikami (The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity). Their booth (#5542) will also feature manga pre-sales, exclusive gifts and products, and giveaways.

2025 Eisner Nominations from Kodansha
This year, Kodansha is excited to have the legendary and culturally relevant manga series in the running for the prestigious Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards. Happening Friday, July 25, 2025, starting at 8:00 PM PDT in the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Indigo Ballroom, fans and professionals can get the chance to attend the event as long as they have a Comic-Con International badge.
