One of the biggest perks of being a college student is, of course, the student discounts.

Student discounts are available on everything from tech products and Amazon Prime to clothing brands and yes, even streaming services.

While Hulu previously offered a standalone student discount, this new discount bundles Disney+ and Hulu together and cuts the price in half.

Regularly priced at $12.99/month, the Disney+ and Hulu basic (with ads) bundle is just $6.49/month as long as you’re a student.

Here’s what you need to know to start taking advantage of the deal.

How to Get the Disney+ and Hulu Student Discount:

All you have to do to sign up for Disney+ and Hulu’s student discount is head over to Disney+’s Student Discount landing page. From there, click the CLAIM YOUR DISCOUNT button. You’ll be asked to verify your student status, and from there, complete your purchase.

You’ll be eligible for the Disney+ and Hulu student discount as long as you stay a registered undergraduate or graduate student in the United States.

What to Watch on Disney+ and Hulu:

Between Disney+ and Hulu, there’s no shortage of great things to watch. Here’s what we recommend adding to your watchlist, plus a few things to look forward to over the next few months.

Disney+:

Disney+, of course, is the streaming home of all things Disney, meaning you can watch all of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ and Pixar’s movies on the service. Hoppers, Pixar’s March release, hit the streamer earlier this summer, while their most recent theatrical movie, Toy Story 5, debuts on Sept. 23.

The service is also home to all things Star Wars — including The Mandalorian and Grogu, which drops on the platform on Sept. 2. The entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, including original series, is also streaming on Disney+.

Beginning Sept. 15, Dancing with the Stars will air live every week on Disney+.

Disney+ is also getting in on sports this year. Select live ESPN College Football games and ESPN College GameDay are available on Disney+ every Saturday during football season at no extra cost for Disney+ subscribers — and you won’t need any additional ESPN subscriptions to watch.

Hulu:

The new student discount is timed perfectly to the beginning of the new TV season. As many of ABC’s scripted shows begin returning in late September and early October, Hulu subscribers will get to watch new episodes the morning after they air on ABC. This includes Abbott Elementary, 9-1-1, Grey’s Anatomy, Scrubs and more.

Hulu is home to all things FX, with series like The Bear, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Adults (which recently debuted its second season) streaming alongside shows from FX’s partnership with Ryan Murphy, including the currently-airing The Shards, the upcoming 13th season of American Horror Story and the Emmy-nominated Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette.

Hulu also has a roster of original series just waiting to be your new obsession, including Furious, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives (Season 5 debuts on Sept. 10), Only Murders in the Building (Season 6 premieres Dec. 8),

As for movies, Hulu is the streaming home for movies from NEON, 20th Century Studios and Searchlight.
