The soccer action quickly took a backseat on Sunday night with Racing Louisville taking on the Seattle Reign in the NWSL.

Louisville star Savannah DeMelo collapsed on the field at the end of the first half.

An ambulance came onto the field, and DeMelo was transported to a local hospital.

DeMelo, who has made appearances for the U.S. Women's National Team, "opened up a few months ago about managing Graves’ Disease and Hyperthyroidism after having to leave a game due to chest tightness in March," according to women's sports journalist Claire Watkins.
