Sara Eisen Attempts To Convince ‘The View’ Hosts Trump’s War In Iran Is A “Strategic Opportunity”: “Do You Feel Safer Today?”

CNBC anchor Sara Eisen ended her second stint guest hosting The View with a tense debate about the ongoing war in Iran, which she described to the hosts as a “strategic opportunity.”

After thanking the hosts for “welcoming different perspectives” by having her on, Eisen attempted to get the ladies to agree with her on a number of points about Iran.

“I have an alternative view because a lot of Americans agree with the war, and just hear me out,” she began, which Sunny Hostin already disagreed with.

“Can we all agree at the table at leas that Iran wants to destroy America?” she claimed, calling it “a cornerstone of their foreign policy.” She went on to say Iran has spent “decades trying to make a nuclear weapon,” which Hostin once again disagreed with.

“We can also agree it was obliterated apparently last year,” Hostin added, referring to a written statement Tulsi Gabbard recently shared that claimed Iran’s nuclear enrichment program had been obliterated in the previous strikes.

Eisen disagreed, telling Hostin, “Clearly not,” before going on to state, “It is a strategic opportunity so that our children do not have to face the greatest state sponsor of terror.”

Ana Navarro later asked Eisen, “Do you feel safer today?”

“I feel safer knowing we are going in to try and remove that nuclear threat,” Eisen maintained.

She continued to defend the war against the hosts of The View, including Sara Haines, who feared the “severe” risk American troops will face in Iran.

But the debate came to a head when Eisen told them, “I think Trump’s pretty aware of not wanting a never ending war.”

Hostin and Navarro did not seem convinced. “Do you believe he has a plan or concepts of a plan?” Hostin fired back, earning applause from the audience.

Through the applause and cheers, Eisen said, “I believe they have more than you guys give credit for laid out of what they want to do here,” which seemed to surprise Navarro.

“How do you believe him?” she questioned.

The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
