Sam Darnold has enjoyed one of the most memorable offseasons of his career, and his wife, Katie Hoofnagle, is giving fans another glimpse into it.

After helping lead the Seattle Seahawks to a Super Bowl championship earlier this year, Darnold married Hoofnagle in April. The newlyweds have since been spending time together before the start of training camp, documenting moments from their honeymoon in Italy.

Big year continues for Sam Darnold

Darnold enters the 2026 season with plenty of momentum. The veteran quarterback capped the 2025 campaign by helping the Seahawks capture the Super Bowl, adding the first championship of his career. A few months later, he and Hoofnagle celebrated another major milestone with their wedding before taking time away during the offseason.

With training camp approaching, Seattle will soon shift its focus back to defending its title, but for now, Darnold and Hoofnagle appear to be enjoying a well-earned break together. The latest social media post offered fans one more look at that offseason before football returns.

The Seahawks play their first preseason game on August 15th against the Dallas Cowboys. Following games against the Titans and Chiefs, Seattle will open their 2026 season agaisnt the Patriots on September 9th.
