SAN FRANCISCO — One of the questions you get in this job is, “Who do you root for?”
You then have to explain how as a reporter you’re not allowed to root for a team and have to remain objective. But you can root for people.
One of the best aspects of being a reporter is you get to meet a lot of interesting people and you find that some of them are worth pulling for.
Sam Darnold is one of those people.
