The New Orleans Saints have made a few big additions this offseason already, adding David Edwards and Travis Etienne Jr. to bolster the offense for Tyler Shough.
With the addition of Etienne into the offense, the question naturally goes to what the team does with Alvin Kamara, the veteran running back who might not have a starting job in 2026.
Amid some retirement rumors and speculation, Kellen Moore was asked about whether Kamara was considering retirement or not. Andrew Sicilliano shared Moore's answer on Twitter/x, which was a telling non-answer on Kamara.
Kellen Moore has interesting comment on Alvin Kamara's retirement rumors
When asked about whether Kamara is considering retirement or not, Moore said, "Uhh... I'm not going to get into all of that stuff. Haven't had those conversations in any way."

While it's not some major insight into Kamara's decision, this is a telling comment in that he doesn't shut down the retirement rumors.
Kamara has mentioned before that if he's not on the Saints, he will retire from the NFL. With the addition of Etienne and the money that could be saved by cutting or trading Kamara, it wouldn't be a surprise to see a roster move this offseason on the longtime RB.
More: Alvin Kamara might retire if trade rumors with Saints come true
The five-time Pro Bowl running back and nine-year Saints veteran has had a very productive NFL career during his time in New Orleans.
He has 7,250 rushing yard sand 61 touchdowns on 1,674 attempts in 126 games played. He's also been a great receiving threat, hauling in 606 of his 767 targets for 4,949 yards and 25 touchdowns.
If the retirement rumors are true, and Kamara does decide to end his NFL career, then the Saints legend will close out his career with some impressive statistics, five Pro Bowls, an Offensive Rookie of the Year, and a second-team All-Pro nod in a very strong career.
