Here’s a kicker.
While hosting “American Idol” Monday night, Ryan Seacrest stunned viewers as he walked onstage with his bare feet exposed to talk with contestant Kyndal Inskeep, who also performed without shoes.
The cameras zoomed in on Seacrest’s toes as he hopped up and down with the singer.
“I just saw Kyndal and I thought, ‘I wonder what that [feels like].’ I’ve never hosted a show in my bare feet,” Seacrest told Entertainment Tonight.
“I want to feel grounded. I want to feel that,” he teased, adding that he’d recently dropped $42 on a pedicure and wanted “to show them off. I just had them done.”
Monday’s episode of the hit competition show also saw another first in “Idol” history.
Seacrest announced that he would not be reading the voting results live due to an “unprecedented” 10 million votes being cast.

As he explained, there needed to be more time to count the votes — something that has never occurred in the show’s 24-season history.
The results are set to be revealed during next Monday’s episode.
Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time Seacrest sent the internet into a frenzy in recent days.
During the recent “Love Is in the Air”-themed episode of “Wheel of Fortune,” the media mogul mentioned that he’s using the dating app Tinder.
“I love ‘Love Is In The Air,’” Seacrest gushed, before quipping, “And I’ll be on Tinder tonight, so I can find it.”
While chatting with ET on Monday night, Seacrest shared that his admission garnered quite the response from fans and family alike.
“Even my mom called me,” the star, who split from model Aubrey Paige two years ago, explained.
“And she said ‘What’s this Tinder thing?’ And I said, ‘What are you talking about,'” he continued. ” I’m like, ‘Mom, this is not what you should be doing.’ She said, ‘I read about it.'”
Seacrest has hosted “American Idol” since the show’s premiere in 2002.
