The Minnesota Timberwolves have struggled as of late, losing three of their last four matchups.

Sunday's game will be another tall task for the Timberwolves, as they are set to face the Oklahoma City Thunder, the current No. 1 seed in the Western Conference.

Ahead of a matchup between Anthony Edwards and last year's MVP, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, four-time Defensive Player of the Year award winner, Rudy Gobert had high praise for his opponents.

“It’s a great, great challenge for us, a great opportunity,” Gobert said. “I think OKC is actually a great example of what we want to be in terms of their mindset."

Gobert went on to say: "They’re a team that plays hard every night, regardless of who is on the floor and for 48 minutes."

Although the Timberwolves are currently sixth in the West, they've enjoyed some success against Oklahoma City this year.

They currently lead the season series 2-1, winning consecutive games against the Thunder after losing the first matchup to begin the year.

Having lost by 12 points in their last game, Oklahoma City and Gilgeous-Alexander will be eager to get their revenge and even the season series.

That said, two of their main contributors aren't expected to play, Jalen Williams and Isaiah Hartenstein.

As for Minnesota, their injury report is completely clear.

Following Sunday's game, the Timberwolves will return home to face the Suns.

As for the Thunder, they'll head out on a five-game road trip beginning in Orlando against the Magic.
