AEW star Chris Jericho may not stay All Elite for long. For the past few months, it has been known that Le Champion's contract would end in December 2025. It was also rumored that he would join WWE. However, with his contract expiring in just a few days, a detailed report has now emerged regarding the former AEW World Champion's future.
The Demo God hasn't been seen in the Jacksonville-based promotion since April. While many fans miss him now, he was barely respected by the audience when he was active. Many believed he might return to WWE at Royal Rumble this year. He may no longer be part of All Elite Wrestling going into the new year, and things are moving faster than many expected.
According to Wrestling Intel, Chris Jericho's contract might expire this Wednesday. Shockingly, the report claimed he could be on WWE RAW in just a few days after becoming a free agent.
Fans had mixed reactions to the recent report. While WWE fans are happy to see a legend like Jericho join the sports entertainment juggernaut, AEW fans are relieved that he has left the company.

Matt Hardy talks about Chris Jericho's potential run
For almost half a year, veterans have discussed different roles for the Demo God upon his potential arrival in WWE. Matt Hardy had an interesting take on the situation.
While speaking on the Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, the veteran claimed that Chris Jericho's return to WWE is a huge moment for the company and that they could retire him like John Cena.
"I feel like if he came back to WWE, it'd be a huge moment, especially in a Royal Rumble, whatever, wherever that appearance would, it would be massive. And then I feel like there would be a good run he could do, even if it is his last run and he retires at the end of it, like Cena did," Matt said.It will be interesting to see how long it takes Chris Jericho to return to WWE.
