Romeo Beckham shared a cryptic post about “unnecessary lies” as his ex Kim Turnbull broke her silence about rumors she dated his older brother, Brooklyn Beckham.
“Be nice to people and don’t tell unnecessary lies 😘,” the 22-year-old wrote on his Instagram Stories Monday, alongside a black-and-white still of Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck in the 1953 film “Roman Holiday.”
The post also featured the words: “What the world needs is a return to sweetness and decency.”
Romeo’s message came after his ex took to her Instagram Stories to deny rumors that she and Brooklyn had previously dated.
“I’ve avoided speaking on this topic to avoid adding fuel to the fire, however it’s come to a point where I feel the need to address it so I can move on,” Turnbull wrote Monday.
“I will not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative,” the DJ added.
Turnbull, 24, claimed she and Brooklyn, 26, “have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point.”
“Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16,” she alleged.
“I would like to remove myself from the ongoing conversation & set the record straight for the sake of everyone involved.”

Earlier this month, Turnbull and Romeo called it quits after seven months of dating as reports of a growing family feud between the Beckhams surfaced.
There were rumors that Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, skipped out on his dad David Beckham’s 50th birthday bash in May because Turnbull was present.
However, sources told Page Six those rumors were untrue.
“It’s just an excuse to find an argument,” a source told us, adding that the allegations were “nonsense.”
Brooklyn and the “Lola” actress, 30, have continued to keep their distance from the Beckhams.
However, David seemingly extended an olive branch online by tagging his and Victoria Beckham’s eldest child while celebrating his knighthood from King Charles III.
The former soccer pro also posted several sweet throwback pictures of Brooklyn and his other kids in honor of Father’s Day.
